At ridechico.com (operated by Lin & Co., LLC), we’re committed to providing reliable, transparent shipping for your bicycle purchases—ensuring your new ride arrives safely and on time, ready to hit the road or trail. Below is a detailed breakdown of our shipping process, coverage, and policies, designed to keep you informed every step of the way.

1. Shipping Coverage & Eligibility

We ship exclusively to the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Currently, we do not offer international shipping (excluding Puerto Rico). To ensure eligibility:
  • Provide a valid physical address (PO boxes are not accepted for bicycle deliveries, as signature confirmation is required).
  • For remote regions (e.g., rural Alaska, outer Hawaiian Islands), additional delivery time may apply—check checkout for real-time estimates.

2. Fulfillment & Processing Times

All bicycles are dispatched from our facility at 41 Magnolia Ave E, Mc Henry, MS 39561, and processed with care to ensure quality:
  • Processing Time: 2-3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). This includes rigorous pre-shipping inspections (frame checks, component tightening, and safety verifications) to ensure your bike is ready for assembly.
  • Order Confirmation: You’ll receive an email with your order details immediately after checkout. A separate shipping confirmation (with tracking number) will be sent once your bike leaves our facility.

3. Delivery Options & Timelines

We partner with trusted carriers (UPS, FedEx, and specialized bicycle shipping services) to ensure secure, damage-free delivery. Choose from two shipping options at checkout:

  • Weekend/Holiday Delivery: Carriers do not deliver on weekends or major holidays (e.g., Christmas, Thanksgiving). Delivery timelines exclude these days.

4. Packaging & Protection

Bicycles are shipped in industry-standard, heavy-duty cardboard boxes with custom foam padding and reinforced corners—designed to protect frames, wheels, and components during transit. Each bike is partially disassembled (wheels removed, handlebars rotated, seat post lowered) to minimize size and prevent damage, with all parts securely fastened. Included in every shipment:
  • Assembly instructions (simple, step-by-step guides for home assembly).
  • Tools needed for basic assembly (hex keys, wrench).
  • Protective covers for sensitive components (chain, derailleur, and frame).

5. Shipping Fees

  • Standard Shipping: Free for orders over $500 (contiguous US); $39 flat rate for orders under $500.
  • Expedited Shipping: $99 flat rate (contiguous US); $149 flat rate (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico).
  • Additional Fees: No hidden charges—fees include handling, packaging, insurance, and signature confirmation. For oversized items (e.g., electric bikes, bike trailers), a $50 surcharge applies (automatically added at checkout).

6. Tracking Your Order

Once your bike ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email (linked to your carrier’s website). You can also track your order by:
  • Logging into your ridechico.com account and navigating to “My Orders.”
  • Using the “Track Order” tool on our homepage (enter your order number and email address).
  • Contacting our support team for updates—we monitor shipments daily and will notify you of any delays.

7. Delivery Requirements & Signature

  • Signature Confirmation: A signature (18+) is required upon delivery to ensure your bike is received safely. If no one is available, the carrier will leave a delivery attempt notice with instructions to reschedule or pick up the package from a local facility.
  • Address Accuracy: Double-check your shipping address at checkout. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may cause delays, returned packages, or additional fees ($50 re-shipping fee for returned orders due to wrong addresses).

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

We take great care in packaging, but if your bike arrives damaged or goes missing:
  • Damaged Items: Inspect the package and bike immediately upon delivery. Note any damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt and take clear photos (package, damaged parts, and shipping label). Contact us at vabivivi30@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos, and description of damage. We’ll arrange a free replacement, repair, or full refund (including return shipping).
  • Lost Shipments: If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received your bike, contact us within 72 hours. We’ll work with the carrier to locate the package or initiate a claim.

9. International Shipping (Currently Unavailable)

We do not ship to countries outside the US (excluding Puerto Rico) at this time. We’re working to expand our shipping coverage—follow us on social media for updates on international availability.
